A teenager with no money for a ticket. I made it in, but what an adventure. I climbed over the fence before dawn, climbed the tallest tree in the amphitheater, and strung up a hammock way up high above leaves that blocked the view from the ground. There were others up there too. Security knew we were there, they kept calling up to us, but they couldn’t see us. After about 6 or 7 hours when the gates finally opened, I climbed down, got a ticket from the usher to re-enter, went home, and took a shower. Upon return I was treated to the most magical rock concert on a beautiful California summer sunny day. When Carlos Santana came out for the encore I was just in a state of joyous disbelief. Absolutely amazing encore. It was the best rock concert of my life. So nice to find it here after all these decades.
